Frequently asked questions
How do I create a transcript?
Tap the red record button on the home screen and start talking, or import an existing audio file. On first use you'll be asked to agree to AI processing. When you stop, ToText transcribes and summarizes automatically.
Is my data private?
Yes. There is no account or sign-in. Audio is sent securely to our processing providers only to produce your transcript and summary, then deleted. Transcripts and summaries are stored on your device and your iCloud. See our Privacy Policy.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
In the app, open Settings → Manage plan, then tap Manage or cancel subscription to open Apple's subscription screen. You can also go to the iOS Settings app → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account and renew until canceled.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings → Delete all my data. This permanently removes all recordings, transcripts, and summaries from your device and iCloud.
Which languages are supported?
Hebrew and English, including transcripts, summaries, and the in-app interface.
My recording failed or is stuck — what should I do?
Check your internet connection and try again. If a recording stays stuck, email us with the approximate time it was made and we'll look into it.
